  • My experience with Don Woolhouse, as our realtor, in selling a family home was an incredibly positive one.  From the moment I met Don, I knew we were in the right hands. He immediately understood the house and our position on selling it.  It was a family home for 60 years, the house my sister and I grew up in.  He saw right away that it should be sold as is, and not gussied up to be a house it was not.  His excitement for the house was real, his concern for what I was going through was real, and his offer of support, in any way, was real.  I trusted him and he acted on that trust 100%.  He treated me as a partner, from discussing asking price to analyzing offers to answering every question and concern I had.  He was very responsive, very clear and very knowledgeable (he brought many years of experience to the table, in the most unassuming way).  He kept me in the loop but didn’t inundate me with details.  His anticipation for how it was going to evolve was spot on.  Everything he told me to expect came to pass, and there were no empty promises or posturing.  He was inclusive of my sister, who lives in another state, and figured out the particulars of signing when we were both not in San Francisco.  I could go on and on, but the last thing that, for me, supersedes everything is that he is a very considerate person.  This shined through everything he did.  He was recommended to us by a family member, and it proved to be one of the greatest gifts received.  — Alice B.

Even though I knew how great he was from my previous experience, Stefano went above and beyond my and my partner’s expectations. He was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout what turned out to be a frustrating purchasing process due to out-of-the-country sellers. The sellers left a ton of stuff in the house, and Stefano drove over with his personal car on our move-in day to take it away. He also hand-delivered documents to us late one evening when the closing date changed because he knew we didn’t have access to a printer. Shortly after meeting Stefano at an Open House he took the time to sit down with us and really listen to (and remember) our criteria. Stefano also always maintained a sense of humor even under trying circumstances. Greg and I were a bit sad when all was signed because it meant we weren’t going to be having regular contact with Stefano.
